Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Director-Quality and Field Compliance to join our team of professionals. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care
A leadership position responsible for overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards and for monitoring and improving quality care. Collaborates with site leadership and other Regional/National Directors to ensure that training, monitoring and improvement activities are designed and implemented to enhance the quality of care provided by Seasons Hospice professionals and comply with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Either: (1) Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) practicing; Bachelor of Science, Nursing (BSN) required; Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred; or (2) a Masters of Social Work, licensed (as applicable) in state(s) practicing.
Hospice management experience and knowledge of Medicare regulations required.
Knowledge of JC standards and experience with performing mock surveys preferred.
Experience with auditing medical records required.
Knowledgeable in developing and executing corrective action plans.
Ability to identify, prioritize, coordinate and implement quality performance improvement measures for hospice.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; computer literate including demonstrated ability with use of Outlook for e-mail and Calendar Management, Word, Excel, and Power Point development.
Ability to work independently and travel to local sites.
Excellent personal, administrative and organizational skills.
