Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Director of Education to join our team of professionals. This leadership position is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational initiatives within the organization. This position is also responsible for directing Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, and for ensuring that patient privacy rights are protected. As the leader of connecting quality initiatives to educational opportunities, this leadership position inspires TRUE HOPE values and behaviors and the highest degree of quality care and compliance
Hospice clinician meeting the qualifications of Seasons RN Case Manager, Social Worker, Chaplain, or Music Therapist, advanced hospice certification required.
Ability to identify, coordinate and implement educational activities for all hospice disciplines.
At least two years of hospice management and supervisory experience required.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements preferred.
Experience in the state survey process preferred. Knowledge of the Joint Commission accreditation process preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; computer literate.
Excellent personal, administrative and organizational skills.
