    Overview

    What You Will Do

    In a hard-working, patient-focused environment, our Vice President of Patient Experience is responsible for harnessing the efforts of our Supportive Care and Volunteer team members for the Perfect End of Life Experience for each patient. 

     

    The Vice President of Patient Experience is a brand-new position that will report to the Chief Medical Officer and is responsible for leading the Patient Experience Department of Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care.  This position will establish the strategic vision and direction for the Patient Experience Department and enjoy the opportunity to collaborate and engage with multiple departments and Vice Presidents, including Quality, Education and Employee Experience.

     

    Under the compassionate leadership of this role, the Department of Patient Experience, will be responsible for shaping a new way of thinking around the PERSONalized plan of care and the holistic needs of each patient, ensuring that their perfect end of life plan is achieved.

     

    Our Patient Experience Department is at the heart of the care we provide.  Seasons Social Workers, Music Therapists, Chaplains and Volunteers model for their teams a passion for excellence, a belief in the power of hospice care, and the desire to make a differenceevery day, every patient, every time.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in supportive care-related field (social work, music therapy, chaplaincy, etc.)
    • Specialized certification in Hospice and Palliative Care required
    • 5-7 years of experience as a senior-level leader in a healthcare setting
    • 7-10 years of hospice experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; computer literate.
    • Excellent administrative, organizational and leadership skills.
    • Experience with customer service/patient satisfaction improvement initiatives. Experience with performance improvement plans and implementation of such plans.
