Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Business Team Assistant to join our team of professionals. We make a difference every day to patients and families coping with end of life illness in creating a center of excellence in hospice care. This role is a very rewarding position as you will play a key role in ensuring that our patient needs are being met. Candidate must be incredibly organized and able to complete tasks efficiently and accurately in an ever changing, fast paced environment.  Must have at least 5 years of clerical experience and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and especially comfortable working in Excel.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to managing administrative needs of patient such as ordering durable medical equipment and similar tasks, processing and verifying patient documentation in the electronic medical records, managing hospice related paperwork to ensure it is processed in a timely manner for compliance and billing purposes and working closely with the clinical and operations team to provide the best quality of care for our patients.
Will provide administrative support to clinical and operation leadership team members.Responsible for maintaining patient records according to accepted standards and organizational policy.

Familiarity with hospice services, care, supplies and coordination of DME is a plus but not a requirement. Provides administrative support when needed by answering calls from patients, families and other healthcare team members.


The Team Assistant assumes responsibility for supporting the Team Director and interdisciplinary team members; acting as a liaison between field staff and the Team Director. Responsible for maintaining the open charts according to accepted standards and organizational policy.


At least one-year previous clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting or equivalent.

Computer skills.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology.

Demonstrates an ability to work closely with a variety of people while effectively using problem- solving skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
